I have made a lot of changes and additions to the simple basic kolam and ended up with a fusion kolam. This is another lamp kolam for the 'month of lamps'. Hope you all like it...

I have a big collection of lamp kolams which I am converting into photoshop kolams and since Karthigai is not far away I thought I should start uploading them one by one... This once is a very simple one and I am sure will be familiar to most of you...
It has been quite a while since I uploaded my kolams here. This is a combination of four kolams I had put more than 3 months ago... Kolam No.3 was done in a big hurry so it is a little out of proportion... Hope you like them...
After seeing Pushpa and Rajamma's kolam I could not resist doing the same kolam using photoshop... I went a step ahead, made a few alterations, rotated the angle of the kolam and created a new kolam which I have put side by side for all of you to see and enjoy. Now Lata you are left with the job of combining all our kolams for a new display....
Everytime I saw Lakshmi's intricate patterns being uploaded, I would be tempted to copy one of them.. The only problem was time, as I knew that I would have to spend sufficient time to do atleast 50% justice to her work. Finally I have managed to try out one of her designed tablecloth patterns (http://ikolam.com/node/4764?p=1116) and hope I have not offended her with the end product.. LAKSHMI THIS IS MY TRIBUTE TO YOU AND HOPE YOU LIKE IT

This kolam must be very familiar to many of you as it is quite a simple, common kolam. Just tried my hand with a couple of effects on photoshop and presenting this for the festive season of Diwali.....
This is one of my favourite freehand rangoli designs which can be developed as the mind goes.. Hope you all like it..
