Here is a novel 7x7 pattern. I told you earlier that there are only two possibilities of sOnA patterns for 7X7, viz., 3x4 and 2x5. I found one more cute way of obtaining a third pattern. I had a border with the outside dots leaving a 5x5 matrix inside. I created 2x3 sOnA patterns in this matrix and joined them with the outside border so that only two lines (pink and white) result. A central svAstika also adorns the whole pattern. Enjoy!

Here are four patterns in a collage form with 5x5 dots (or 1 to 9 to 1 if rotated by 45 deg). Since these are small, I thought I'll put them all together instead of posting separately. Enjoy!

Here is another 85 dot kOlam or 7x7 square. This has four 2x5 sOnA patterns. With a 7x7 dot structure, 3x4 and 2x5 are the only sOnA possibilities at the corners. This type of four 2x5 patterns left a bigger central void where I drew a very familiar pattern. As always, enjoy! Regards! - mOhana
Here is an 85 dot kOlam designed by me with a svAstika. According to my nomenclature, it is a 7X7 square. One can go from one to the other by rotating the pattern by 45 degrees. Enjoy!

1. A four-level single line tower is first created.
2. Two of these are joined to form a "chikku" diamomd.
3. Four such diamonds are joined to get the present two line pattern.
4. Quite a few newer designs can be made with this motif. I'll give them in due course.
Enjoy!

This is a collage of lotus-like flowers. Try to find out how the flower was made. Enjoy!

A three level single line gOpuram is created. This was rotated in two ways by 60 deg. The images with the towers pointing outward give rise to a two line pattern (pink and yellow). The ones rotated inward give rise to the interior pattern that has eight lines and six colours. Lamps are added to fill the spaces. Normally I upload images with height less than 600 pixels. This one is an exception as I uploaded a larger image (but still only 72 kb) to give clarity to the inner image. Enjoy!
