I'm out of my hibernation with this small chikku kolam which happens to be my very favorite one. My first attempt with wet maavu. I expect your suggestion to improve myself.

I think this has come out well for a first attempt. Boats-border looks nice. I'm glad the hibernation period got over.

Aahaa vinci....WELCOME BACK....so nice to see ur submission after a loooooong time...ur first attempt is so lovely...edaavadu tips eduthu vidradu...for beginners in those who haven't yet tried maakolam....like me...

vinci, first try has really come out well. The kolam looks very good and boats border looks nice.

For the first time it has comeout very well. If it is drawn on cement floor the water gets absorbed immediately, where as in wooden floor it takes time. So the consistancy of the wet maavu to be changed in each case. Experience will teach u every thing. Now that the starting trouble is over , u can do wonders.(Pushpa, Beware! Border specalist' is around the corner)

Vinci maam this is too good for a first attempt (I remember mine ... it was pathetic.. phew!!)... lovely border too... pls dont go back to hibernation and keep attempting the kolams with wet maavu
