This is my maiden attempt in creating a big pookolam, I haven't crossed 7 dots. This is an imaginary kolam and I've included butterflies as I have a fascination towards them. I have a phobia of pookolam as it needs perfect grid spacing for a good symmetry, I'm much comfortable with chikku and freehand kolams.
Thanks Judy for giving a push to make pookolams and my dear friends for encouraging me with your words. Please give your suggestions.
This is a 7-4 interlaced chikku kolam. I have adopted (suttukiten/stealed) shading techniques from our ikolam experts, Hope they don't sue me
The second picture shows my little one in action.
Which one would you like to vote for?
This is a 9x1 chikku kolam. Hope the floor likes to linger on to the holi celebrations holding back the colours with it
