Hi All, This kolam has been taken from Lata Kalaimani's gallery "All that glitters are gold". For a long time, I have been planning to try this kolam. I liked the design very much. So i made it on Thiruvathira day. I haven't done full justice as you can see asymmetry here and there. Please send your comments and views for improvement.

This is the kolam made for karthigai deepam. It has been designed by MIL in paper and I executed it on the floor.
This is the kolam done with wet rice paste (for the first time I made rice paste for kolam, because there was no stock of dosa batter)for Bharani Deepam. My mother-in-law is a very good kolam designer (esp traditional padi kolams). But now, due to her age and health conditions, she couldn't execute it on the floor. So I asked her to draw the design in a paper and i re-produced it on the floor. Send us your feedback.
