THis is my first submission for the Cruise event. This is turtle kolam with 21 - 11 intermediate dots. As I'm unable to do it on floor(can make only during weekends, I'm uploading my paper version. Got this design from my collection (thru web browsing) and have modified a little. Please let me know ur views and comments.
I'm so happy today - U know why? This star fish kolam was created by me. For the first time in my life, I have created something of my imagination. I like to draw starfish right from my school days. I like its shape. Here, I created 5 small starfishes and joined them all together to give the shape of a big starfish. How is it? Please let me know your comments.
Hi friends, yet another new creation of my own imagination - Kolam with Lighthouse and a ship. I used the dot matrix 9 x 9 for this kolam. Please let me know whether this look like a lighthouse.

I left the practise of drawing after 10th Matriculation (1995). After so many years, I have done this. I did this by referring to a picture in internet. The original picture was a celtic pattern sea horse pendant. I tried to draw the same picture on a paper. I don't know what this pappu and Ammu r going to comment on seeing this. Does this look like a sea horse? I confirmed with my husband 2 to 3 times before uploading here. Let me know your comments.
Lata, I could see some seashells also in the cruise picture attached by you. Hence I'm submitting my paper work on a simple and well known seashells kolam. If it is related to the cruise event, you can attach it there or else add it to my gallery. Friends, please let me know your comments.
This is 15 - 8 (intermediate)dots kolam. Got this design from my collection (thru website). Have some changes to the original kolam by adding an anchor for each ship. Please let me know your views my dear friends.
Hi Friends, This is the kolam that i made for Avani Avittam. It was not fully dried. Many of you would have seen this design before as I have taken it from Mangaiyar Malar. Hope I could have done it still more better.
