This is a sikku kolam. The dot count is 15-1. The additional designs are added to make this grand. Latha, I am uploading this in the last few hours. Some how I scheduled my time in order to participate in this contest. Kindly consider this for the contest. Hope you do. ikolam friends kindly give your opinion.

Padma, first accept my apologies for not commenting . (just returned from my trip, Though visited this page so many times and admired your kolam now only I could pen down a few lines.)
You have choosen a simple but elegant chikku kola design and by adding small sona patterens and other border chikku kolams you have developed it to a BEAUTY. nice imagination. You always draw in a hurry, but here I can make out that you took time to draw it so accurately with uniform lines.
The outer decorations and the border, the diyas all adding charm to this kolam. About coloring everybody appreciated your choice of colors. Thought not very bright the colors are soothing to the eyes and effectively drawn in proper places.
Well taken photo.
On the whole it is a " fusion Beauty " . Thank you once again for your participation.
