About MARGAZHI 2011 CONTEST : PRINT

Hi! All this kolam was drawn by me at my brother-in-law's place for the contest which is one of my favourite chikku kolams. Hope you all like it and your views please. I could not cover the dot grid due to bright sunlight. I am afraid whether I could upload it in time as Today only I returned from my native place.

Beautiful kolam and nice strokes. Thin and fine strokes makes your kolam to sparkle. Borders and use of mild colours gives a elegant look.

Looks like a North, South, East, West kolam to me - each kolam has a different central design signifying the four different directions - very well tried. The bordering looks very pretty too - I love the blue curls. all the best

Very neat and steady strokes. Fantastic idea of combining four similar kolams with a small 4 dots kolam. Borders look excellent.

Kameshwari kalakkal chikku kolam.
Design.... lovely joint kolam
Dot count.... Big one but easy to follow, you have kept the dots so neatly.
Drawing.... four 7-1 dot kolams surrounded by chikkuy borders and well placed to create abig square. The ezhai is so cute and neat evrywhere. without any chikkal.
Coloring .... little coloring used for the partition and borders.
Photo... well taken
