Hai friends!!! I made this kolam for purattasi saturday. Actually I made this kolam with a tool like roller but not roller, it is an angular plate ("L" shaped) ur views please....

awesome jasree...i too have this kind of a roller or to say dragger...we have to drag that aluminium thing na on d ground....yet to try a kolam with it....what i have in mind is to be able to put some col or kavi in d inbetween gap...it would look even more lovely....

L shaped roller? Sounds interesting. Your kolams looks nice with good looking nested triangular designs at the ends.

ya vinci and latha...this is made of aluminium which my neighbour gave it to me from kumbakonam...i shall upload it in d cafe section for u to see....but now it is available in chennai also...

I like your design. well drawn with the roller(!) . Pl avoid drawoing 3 lines.
Ammu , Sudha presented all of us this type of L shaped roller. yet to try on that.

the one which i have is six lines rajamma mam so a small design itself would occupy so much space...waiting for a simple design...glad that u too have it...appo kalakkunga adile oru kolam pottu....

Thanks to all for your valuable feedback.
I ve purchased this roller long back at Swamimalai near Kumbakonam. Actually the roller is with 12holes (4 x 3), hence it appears like 3lines. For straight line it is excellent, but i found little difficult in moving for making curves. Surely I will make a demo at our Chennai meet. Once again thanks to all.

Lovely lines and design. Kaavi would have given it a super effect.
By the way, although I joined quite sometime back, I do not know many of you, no interaction because I just see and appreciate your kaivannam. I have not yet got the confidence to upload any of my kolams.
So, a doubt...is this kolam by Jasree or Jayanthy? Different people address you by different names!
