Jalajam (Lotus)
About Jalajam (Lotus) : PRINT
This is a familiar rangoli with a twist. The lotus pattern is obtained with letters that spell jalajam in telugu. jalajam means lotus. The anusvAra (sunna) at the end of the word all meet in one circle forming a common letter for all six. Enjoy!

Hi Mohana, I'm surprised at the amount of planning you do before you create these kind of rangolis. Not only do your letters have to mean something, they have to form the word too, and collectively give you a cool pattern?
You sure know how a get a lot out of these letters (and I'm not saying that just for the sake of commenting here).
