Kolam Stencil Plates in Chennai

I'm looking for kuzhal with straight lines/design types in T.Nagar & Pondy Bazaar area. Also for stencil plates with various designs. Can anyone guide me with the locality and the approximate rates..

Vinciji, kola kuzhal is available at "INDRASTORES" in front of east entrance of Kapaleshwar temple in mylapore, Stencil plates are available at ranganathan street,T.Nagar (on foot path).

nice post! reading it I remembered the last year Diwali festival when my mother and myself cooked a variety of dishes and drew rangoli designs and performed Lakshmi pooja in the evening. Really I love the festival Diwali !

Very nice ! I love these designs. In Telugu we call them as sankranthi muggulu with chukkalu and have a competation particularly on them.

I got our kola tubes and stencil plates at Ranganathan street. It so happened that the tubes were not displayed along with the rangoli powder packets. You can ask for it and they get it from their storage. Rates for stencil plates; Rs. 20, kola tubes were priced at Rs 12 (smallest double straight lines), 4 lined tubes were Rs 15 onwards.

Mylapore is one city I had wanted to visit but couldn't. Smile

The kolam stencils are available at Giri Trading at Mylapore opposite to the Temple
