Thanks everybody for the guess and the enjoyment it created. This rangOli was first "fingershopped" by me on paper. Afterwad the computer took over. There is a command called edge detection and if it is applied, a double line is created. Once such boundaries are clearly established, it is possible to fill each square with an individual colour. I read that sona drawings have always a story behind them. I thought it would be nice to draw one and make a story too. Since I normally "assmeble" big patterns from a small one and draw rarely patterns like this with hand, it is not surprising that my name was not guessed!

mOhanaji when i saw this first the point that almost all colors used by the person made me think it was done by one who has a child in his heart. But the double line resembling that of an ezhai made of ear bud forced me to think that it was made by somebody well versed in computer drawings and not a new comer.
So its u who played the trick?
In reply to I go with Pavan. It must be by Vani Muthukrishnan (not verified)
