My kolam as per today's colour Grey. Mixed burnt husk(Umi kari powder and white rice powder to achieve this colour). Used in the spaces so that it is quite visible. Waiting for your valuable views.
Wow...kya idea sowmijiiii....bad girl ...u shd've given me this hint earlier itself so that i wouldn't have scared my hubby after doing my grey kolam(used raw cement pdr for my kolam and he couldn't identify me when i came inside...yaaruma nee sitthaal velai paakkuriya...pakkathu buildingle...hmmmm )awesome kolam pa

Very novel idea, Sowmya! Long back I too used umikari powder once for black color in a rangoli. But now I don't have it ready at home! (We used to have it as a substitute for 'palpodi', right?)
