Hi Revathy....the procedure is like this...Soak some rice and grind it into a very fine paste in the mixer. Then add some water to make the batter into milk like consistency. Not too runny...(then your kolam will be very light.)Then soak a piece of soft cloth in the flour and start drawing lines with your ring finger slowly. Sure you will be able to do. :) Try this and let me know. :)
