hai friends this is my diwali rangoli! a carpet kolam made on glass top. happy diwali!

Happy DeepaavaLi - let the festival of lights bring the joy & happiness to all. Here is this year's deepaavaLi celebration rangoli at home. Inspired by one of the paintings of Baapu earlier shared by Lata. Goddess Lakskshmi with dot count of 21 X 11 - intermediate dots. extended one side to make elephant. Due to time constraint ended up with only one on left side of the Goddess.

This year I decided to use colored rice for my Diwali rangoli. I had rice that remained from a kolam competition, so I decided to use it. I was limited on time and space and wanted to involve my 8 year old daughter.. so I decided to make the kolam using rice. Love to hear your feedback and suggestions for improvement..
