An iKolam member is looking for fabrics that are used in making the Kathakali (male+female) costumes (in India or other places). Could someone please let us know about the different places that he could contact regarding his Kathakali constumes?
Nice, modern, easy way of putting kolam in front of the house in few seconds, but nowadays youngsters have time only to adjust their cellphone in the ears rather than drawing a few lines in front of their houses.
Even though I welcome these stencil kolams it reminds me of MTR readymade food pockets... what do you say?
We are in the middle of our spring break. I would resume publishing rangolis from Sunday onwards. Thank you.

Hope all of you had a nice weekend. I can see that some of you are ahead in celebrating Tamil new year and Vishu! Here is an update on the Chandramukhi drum rangolis:
To begin with, I had placeholder files, files with a plain drum against a background, ready with the author's names in place, for people who had submitted their designs earlier. But, now, I see that there are more designs that are being submitted on an ongoing basis! 
What a lovely treat it was! I'm talking about the Chennai-meet details emerging from the long write up! Very nice pictures too, from both Lakshmi and Judy!
First, I especially would like to thank Pavan. He is the first one who appeared on my web cam, who probably didn't know that he was the first person ever on my brand new web cam! I' ve never used one before, so I got one for this occasion! I must congratulate Mr and Mrs.Raghu for raising not only a tech savvy boy, but a great multi-tasker too! He introduced all the ladies who attended the meet, was with me during our online chat, and simultaneously asked me to save the pictures he was sending me! Did I mention he was also speaking with his guests at the same time? Thank you very much Pavan! From now on, anytime I buy a new electronic gadget, I will dial your number.

I wanted to give you all an update regarding the problem we experienced after our routine maintenance (yesterday night according to my time). I'd received about 25 emails this morning (my time) and thought it's best to post my reply here.
