Created by Lata on 2010-12-30,

Dear friends,

It has been a fun year working with all of you! And I look forward to another brand new creative working year ahead.

This dotted 2011 rangoli has 15 dots in five rows at the center. And the number of dots decreases to 13, 11, 9, 7, 5 on either ends (right and left sides). Here's to new beginnings, a new 2011! Have a happy and a prosperous New Year.

Rangoli: Kalyana Mandapam Roof design!
Created by ragasvr on 2010-02-19,

I was trying to design muggu patterns for roof of temples and kalyana madapams and this is my first design in that series. I hope you people like it!

Rangoli: Ice Queen Rangoli
Created by Lata on 2009-12-12,

I like this pattern a lot for a rangoli. The white color simulates the use of rangoli powder, against the earthy brown background.

Rangoli: Moonlight rangoli
Created by Lata on 2009-12-11,

A dotted kolam made with a moon-light theme. Uses a 11x1 dotted grid.

Rangoli: Pastel colors - Thread strokes - Birds : Color Scheme

Birds rangoli. Dot count: 26x6

The strokes are textured. This rangoli is part of an example of color scheme. Check out this page: http://www.ikolam.com/patterns/one-design-different-color-schemes for details!

Rangoli: Color schemes: woodgrain rangoli

Used the wood grain texture to color the kolam. This is a 9 - 1 dot kolam.
