Brinda, nice kolam. I think the four lines are drawn by a small metal roller, with holes and inside filled with white rangoli powder. The outer thick line is made by hand.Am I correct?By using this type of KOLAKUZHAL we can make big designs in a short time.

Yes , You are right Rajamma. I used the metal tube with holes and dragging it at a single stretch. Needs some practice though to get simple strokes without drawing over the already drawn lines. I got this from my Mother-in-Law who is a veteran.
