About The 10 -10 collection : PRINT
After Suguna's temptation and Lata's go ahead here comes my first 10 - 10 (straight dots) pookolam. I tried this one on my kitchen top but was not too happy as the kolapodi was sprinkling too far out, leaving a glow for every line I drew and the picture quality was also not to my satisfaction so this is what I landed up with. Hope you all like it. I think I have a few more which I will share if I am allowed to by Lata

Very nice flower kolam. The centre design looks like penguin. The spreading of podi happens in granite floor - but that also looks like a effect.

Thanks Lata - ya it was past midnight and I was trying to keep awake as my son gets back from work at that time -sometimes I watch TV, or keep drawing kolams in my book - but the computer is the only thing that can really keep me wide awake. Thanks Suguna and Rani (for the encouragement in commenting about the snowy effect as I get upset when I see the podi getting scattered no matter how careful I am - I think I need to get better kolapodi next time)

Do keep me posted if you come across any good english movies, as I remember you giving good reviews about a few of them a long time back.
. I think the scatter is understandable when the kolam powder is of a coarser texture. This is something beyond anyone's control, I guess. Just call the effect "Noise", Judy, instead of calling it a scatter. :0

Excellent kolam. Had you not mentioned about the spreading of podi, I would have thought it is some sort of effect and in fact, it is looking very nice.

Yes Judy, as many have commented, this also looks like one of your innovative styles for a some special effects around the kolam. It is a very even scatter that has added to the beauty of your kolam!!
