About Onion Kolam for the Garden : PRINT

This is a maakolam with dot counts 5 to 1 (center dots) and 2 and 1 dots on all 4 sides... I started making this maakolam and felt it resembled somewhat like onions so drew a few curry leaves and tomatoes for the border to go along with it and this goes to the veggie garden

Interesting onion kolam Pushpa - only thing you did not get the right colour for the onion. The curry leaf and tomato border looks cute Smile As usual your maakolam rocks Smile

Lovely color on these yellow onions Pushpa! This is the kind that we use a lot here. The darker ones and the white onions are also commonly available. The skin on this one is yellowy-brown, more like what you've used here. I see a combed effect on the surface though. Any special effects tried? Do spill. Smile
I'm going to take this design for an inspiration, one of these days. Smile
