Pushpa, you have done a Marvellous work. Chikku in a different look and something very new to me. Cute Birds, the corner lamps are inviting:) As usual lovely borders.

Tx everyone for the comments...Vinci this was done in my kitchen dear, not in the usual place (my vaasal)... practically everyone had to do hop, skip, jump for a day

Pushpa, though I admired your wet maavu chikku kolam, only now I could comment on it.... sorry for the delay.
Just wondering why you choose a simple chikku kolam design for the contest, since you are capable of putting complicated ones. But you have nicely joined the simple design to produce a biigger design.
If you have drawn this with color [podi and white podi instead of wet maavu then we can compare it with other entried. Yours being in wet maavu is standing out diffeently.
Your drawing is very neat as usual an the coloring is super.
But it looks more of a rangoli than a chikku kolam.
The borders and the lamps also atracts our attention.
Beautiful Maa/ chikku rangoli.
