About Flowers and Bees : PRINT
This is a stylised drawing of flowers (red) and bees (blue). The flower has four petals and is made up of the telugu letter vi. the first lesson in symmetry is we cannot have a five-fold symmetry and extend it infinitely. But there are a few flowers with four petals. The bees are in blue, made up of the telugu letter ri. viri in telugu means flower. Enjoy and comment!
By the way, the svAstika drawing was made up of the tamil letter Ta.

Oops, she has managed to sneak up again! Mohana, the previous comment was made by my daughter (7yrs old), who goes by the user name SuriK in this site. Because we don't let her comment much, she tries to sneak up whenever I step out of my desk, and whenever she comes across a rangoli which fascinates her too much. I hope you don't mind. She was a bumble bee for last year's halloween.

In that case, my daughter isn't the only one who mistook you for an "aunty"! My apologies to you, and thank you for commenting here about it(helps other members too)
I have one more question about the bees (actually my daughter is the one being specific about it). Why aren't the bees yellow and black? Any reason for them being blue?

There are a few blue bees I have seen. But most of them are
yellow and black, I agree. I used red and blue because these
colours give a good contrast and also (do you know) a three
dimensional effect. Yellow is not a good colour as it will
always come in a pale manner. She must be knowing this as
she must have used her crayons in the school. About my name -
mOhana is the right way to spell it, both for men and women.
In the case of a man's name, the na is short and in the case
of women, it is long, nA. That is the only difference. It is
spelt as mOhan only in the north Indian languages.
