About Charcoal painting - Do you believe in haunted spirits, curses? : PRINT
This is a charcoal painting which i did around 14 -15 years ago. This is based on the model picture of the famous painting "The lonely Boy".

Thanx everyone. Mohana sir, This painting is about 2 1/2 feet by 1 1/2 feet. The basic picture I had was a small card with this picture, which mentioned that "The famous painting of a "LONELY BOY".

The painting jayantIji drew is called "Crying Boy", not "Lonely Boy".
There are so many urban legends and ghost stories associated with
this painting. Here are one or two links -

Interesting haunting story behind this street-urchin boy.
Now that a copy of this picture resides in our ikolam.com server,
should I/we be worried?

Thanx for the feedback. The black colour is with charcoal. Other colours are called stumping powder.
