Navaratri golu 2011

This is a picture of my 5 step golu with a painted rangoli as a backdrop. The rangoli you see on the 5th step covered with a pink cloth is made on a glitter cardstock using fabric glitter. The other decorations done with grains and pulses are my past artwork which has been put for display.

My golu does not have a particular theme…it is basically an exhibit of all idols a golu must have…right from marapachi , the chettiyars and so on..this golu i made a special exhibit which showed the divergence between a city and a village life..mine is a simple golu with creativity beyond chaos alone and not on wealth :D .i can guarantee a sundal cup and a payasam cup when u come…:D

hai frnz, welcome to my golu,, this yr we have extended d steps a little bit horizontally and bought some spl collections like vaasthulakshmi, pandurangan, giri valam ,kaarthigai pengal etc

Hi, Very beautiful Golu arrangement and decoration. Very beautiful painted rangoli and card board rangoli.

Your main Golu consists of 4 steps only. I should be in odd numbers like 3,5,7 etc..

Hi, thanks for your encouraging comments....my golu has 5 steps, the fifth being the one covered in pink cloth...except it is small in size.

Hi, thanks for your reply. i thought that's only a rangoli. If that is your 5th step, then it is ok.

Pretty collection of African dolls. I also enjoyed your village scene at the first step. And ofcourse, the rangolis shown at different spots adds to the decor.
