This is the kolam done at the entrance of my house during Varalakshmi Nombu. It is not dried fully but i clicked photo before as there is no guarantee of kolam staying in shape till it dries. Please bear with this unclear image. I still wanted to upload to just show you the effort taken.
Hi All,
Its been long time - uploading and commenting on this forum. I was busy with work and personal commitments. But I check this site atleast 4 days a week. And see all your wonderful submissions. But could not comment as I browse from office and do not have the leverage to browse for a long time. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the members who have uploaded their beautiful kolams. I dont think we can browse through these many different kolams anywhere on a daily basis. I am now attaching my Varalakshmi pooja kolam done in front of the Amman Mandap.
This one is a small padi kolam done at the entrance. Since the floor colour is white i mixed kesari colour with the rice flour to make this kolam. Just thought of sharing this too.
This is a traditional padi kolam that i have done at the pooja room. Some portions of this kolam is distorted by my family members. Look forward to your views.
This is a design that i planned to do for Marghazhi but could not do it so just sharing the paper design done by me. This design is inspired from SB pattern and I have got the Ganesha design from wedding invitation card.
I could not resist seeing all wonderful kolams at ikolam so tried doing a kolam at our parking area. This area is not so suitable to do a rangoli as the floor colour is like that. But just tried and thought of sharing this.
This is a peacock design Ganesha - I got it from a invitation card. This can be used for the centre portion of rangoli. I like drawing lord Ganesha so took this design.
