Another one for the Mardi gras. Done this with the dried flowers of our colony temple. I keep collecting the dried flowers, segregate and make powders like hibiscus, chrysanthemums, marigold etc., This pookolam flowers too would end up in the mixer

While I was busy putting kolams for my neighbour the other day, my maid put this rangoli in front of my house. She seems to be amused too, I think. Good for me.
This is the other rangoli I had done for my neighbour. The floor tiles were already in that pattern. So all I did was selected a small area and filled colors.
Done this today but unhappy with the outcome. Somehow I started off on a bad note and then it continued. So I cut short the kolam.
tried the mandana style but the grooves on my floor are playing spoilsport. But still my enthusiasm has not fizzled out.
