Small rangoli made by me with 2 concentric circles. It has Kalash at the centre and "Hridaya Kamalam" pattern between the circles. Decorated it with wax candles purchased from office sale. Made by tribal children.

Large rangoli decorated with lamps today evening. Placed the diyas in the 6 quadrilalterals as well as the "suzhis" at the 6 places.

Rangoli made by me on Karthikai today, 21.11.2010. This time the rangoli has come out much better than my Diwali rangoli. This is my second attempt. Mixed the colours with kola maav and so was easy to colour the rangoli.
My first attempt at Rangoli. Didn't come out as expected. Experts in rangoli kindly guide me on how to mix the kola maav with the ragoli powder in what proportion, how to spread the colour,achieving a thin layer and also shading in rangoli. This will help me in making a good rangoli for Karthikai.
