Karthikai Rangoli 2010
About Karthikai Rangoli 2010 : PRINT
Rangoli made by me on Karthikai today, 21.11.2010. This time the rangoli has come out much better than my Diwali rangoli. This is my second attempt. Mixed the colours with kola maav and so was easy to colour the rangoli.

Thanks to all the dear madams for your wonderful comments. Last time I didn't mix the colour with the kolapodi and so spread it with a tea strainer. This time I mixed it with kola podi but was in a fix how to spread it. So spread with fingers and later I sprinkled it evenly. Next time I'll take care not to spread it with fingers. Actually I am quite proficient in maa kolams as it's made of rice paste and very easy to draw. This is a totally different ball game.
I have posted another photo of this rangoli with diyas. That looks very pretty.

Actually the texture looks quite different by using your fingers to spread the colour![Smile](https://www.ikolam.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/smile.gif)
