We celebrate the sumangali pooja (like Gowri nonbu, varalakshmi pooja )at the day of thiruvadira. I want to share the kolam placed at the time of pooja.

In our daugter-in-law's valaikappu we put pilliyar in navadania. We prepare a savory called kollu payiru. It contains kollu, pachaipayaru, bengalgram, pottukadalai and managaram. All are roasted and, salt & chilli is added. But the pilliyar was made with colourful daniams.
This is first trial of under water kolam. It is placed in my golu. How is it? Pass any new ideas to use colours under water.
This is goddess in kuthuvilakku at golu-2008. If you do vilakku pooja, do this alankaram and it will give you the satisfaction as like temple.
When we start for golu the kalasa is important. I decorate the kalasa as goddess. It was saraswathi alangaram for the last three days of golu.
