About Pongal Kolam : PRINT

This big rangoli was made by a few students at the Madras University for Pongal Celebrations this year and Anita had clicked a picture on her mobile. Just wanted to share this with all of you. Base materials used were salt with colourpodi. I am sure you will enjoy this.

Beautiful kolam with bright and attractive colours! I believe the centre design is actually a dotted kolam. Thanks for sharing, Judy.

Thanks Vinci, Radhika, Rani (all you have to do is mix plain colourpodi with rock salt and apply - but if you are making a big kolam your fingers will get sore bu the rubbing of the salt while applying and as the sun comes up and melts the salt it will stain the flooring so be careful where you apply it), Viji, Sindhu and Suguna for your comments..
