Hi friends HAPPY RATHA SAPTHAMI..10/2/2011.
Ratha Saptami is observed on the seventh day of the shukhla or bright fortnight in the month of Magha. It is corresponding to the English month of Jan-Feb when the Sun is in Makara rashi.
this is free hand design.....

Another feather to you cap Laks - don't know if I have ever seen a thair so attractive as this one. Those decorative pieces hanging on both sides at the top reminds me of Valluvar Kottam - the colourful checks are the highlight of this design. Every detail of this wonderful masterpiece is excellent and perfect. The violet umbrella on top looks rich. The flags, the lotus, the wheels, the sangh and chakra along with the kumbam, sun and moon adds grace and charm to this amaZing creation - HATS OFF!!
