Jude mam these colours are bought in my hometown(Aruppukottai - a town near Madurai) and we get it ready to use ( some of the colours mixed in kolapodi and some one mixed in sand),
There is no special technique in colouring , I just spread it evenly.... may be the cement flooring is giving a better finish...
