To me, it looks like a cluster of spiders, running away from mOhanji! If they don't get away in time, they might end up under his lens (I meant the camera lens, just like water on glass for Krishna's feet)! Anirudh, and Rajam ma'am, I didn't upload/forward the copies of the isolated spider lily that both of you uploaded, because, much more cleanup was needed around the petals and the 5 filaments of the lily (which is time consuming). It is the thought that counts, so thank you so much! mOhanaji, which college do I enroll myself in if I want to get better at time management! :)

This was the least satisfying of my designs ;-) The spider lily has very thin extensions and they are white. The ones posted on ikOlam was a bit difficult for my work. So I went elsewhere and the background has to be cut out. When one does that, the flower when it is reduced loses its shape and colour. Instead of spider lily, it becomes a spider! Even though it has a six-fold symmetry, the symmetry is not perfect. There is a proverb - somebody wanted to make a student a great scholar, instead the student turned out to be a monkey! Still I posted this to show that all designs are not esthetically pleasing. Sorry if I have offended anybody's senses! Regards! - mOhana

Offended? mOhanaji, what we mean is, we see different things in your rangoli, maybe we want to see them, because all of your designs carry more than the concept of just the pattern! They either mean something, or have other mathematical theories/ideas in them. Now that I've taken another look at it, I see some spiders holding each other's "hands" and running hither-thither! In short, this the best design that I've seen made with Spider lilies! Like I mentioned before, I wouldn't dream of going through the cleanup around those lilies! :)
