Lakshmi, no words to express the feelings. Your enthusiasm and untiring effort at this art not to talk of the dedication.

Nice kolam, I was just wondering, if it is a coincidence that this kolam resembles one of my old kolams in my blog. Did you happen to see this ? http://kamalamalarkolam.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Lakshmi, no words to describe your patience!
Sethupoorni, I saw your site today and was stunned!
what medium you have used for those kolams?
Esp, the peacocks look pretty on two of them.
Please share your knowledge with us!

Brindha, Lakshmi and Nagashree, I just realized that this site is starting to turn into a social networking site?
I think that's my cue to add on more options in our profile section in ikolam (shared private profiles, public profiles) which would make it easier to hook up with other ikolam friends. At present, ikolam doesn't share any member information with anyone else. What do you ladies think?
Rajam ma'am, the pearls of wisdom that I get from just the comments...periyavanga-nna periyavangathaan!

Sethupoorni what a splendid collection of rangoli - you are too good for words.... will surely comment in your blog right away...
Lakshmi solli solli vaai thaan valikudhu pa... unga rangoli romba romba pramaadham.........
Lata it would surely be a lovely idea to add on profiles and each individual can choose to display their own profiles private or public... this will definitely make it useful for people living in the same cities to meet up once in a while... and who knows maybe one day we will also be able to arrange some kind of kolam competition too... looking forward to this soon.... any kind of help required - please feel free to ask....

Great idea Lata!. Even before asking, you all know me, my age, the names of my hubby, daughter, son , grand daughter, grandsons,my sister(thanks she only introduced me to ikolam) my place of living, holiday destination, my favouite hobby(KOlam ... whatelse), fav Paattu, Ishtadeivam and whatnot?.So Lata green signal koduththaal podum we can share whatever we want and come closer.Infact planning to get Lakshmi's address through lata and surpise her on one fine early morning!(Ofcourse Holding the rangolipowder bucket bhind her!)

Enna madam neenga, naan green signal kodukaradha patthi pesureengale! Neenga dhaan kodukanum!
I tend to pick up on the green signal from all of you to proceed further
Actually, I don't have Lakshmi's address ma'am, you wouldn't believe it, but really, I don't. I don't feel comfortable asking for these things from anyone. And the profile info that the members have, I don't think that would be accurate.
But, I do pick up on hints that members drop or by their emails, and return their phone calls (after their requests/expressed interests/ what ever you want to call it). The way I see it, it is rude not to respond to the best of my ability, after someone has asked to speak to me, don't you think?
I've great respect for my members and their privacy, so I need to get some disclaimers, a few more things in place this weekend, before Sunday. Thank you so much for your response, I depend on it!
