I've this pattern with all four squares filled up with dotted chiku pattern. You've shown us another way to incorporate rangolis in the middle of this chiku kolam. It's beautifully drawn and the outlines with purple lines looks good around the kolam.
(I should let you know that some experts feel drawing kolams in triple lines is inauspicious).

Hi, very nice kolam.
Lata what you said is correct. My mom will never allow us to draw the lines in odd numbers. Should be in even numbers only - 2, 4, 6 .....
