Maakolam
About Maakolam : PRINT
This is a freehand maakolam I put in the party hall of my apartment on Navrathri last day... I took a photo of the wet kolam before it dries and came back later to take the photo of the dried kolam but unfortunately it was messed up by the time I went to take the photo.

This has come out very pretty and the brown and white combination seems to have worked wonders.
I think the wetness of this design has added more charm to it.
(I'm filing it under dotted temporarily).

Amazing work Puspha. Only yesterday I was talking about you to Ramya who happens to be a member of ikolam for more than two years but has refrained from commenting because she feels she does not have any experience in making kolams at all. I told her to check your gallery and see your transformation and what an expert you have become in making maakolams. Here you have proved it once again. This one is too good that I don't have any words to say. The white and brown looks so lovely. Only drawback is the central curved line square is slightly crooked - there again kannu drishti for this pretty maakolam. You lotus flowers are so very neatly done and I love them so much

hi, Pushpa kindly have a look into this http://www.ikolam.com/node/15960?p=11787. I think you like these types of sikku kolams. As there were holidays during ayudhapooja, this kolam has gone to my dabba (gallery) escaping from the eyes of all kolam members.
