Are you sure this was meant for Pongal day only? I see more things in this rangoli
I see 4 happy white dog faces with purple tongues and blue eyes. What a 2 in 1 rangoli!
Yes Bharathi, it is now 12:26 am here, I got back late today, and didn't get a chance to do kolam work during the day time. I can't disappoint my ikolam friends, right? How can I sleep peacefully
By the way, what's for lunch?
Lata food is ready here we are all waiting for you only?? don,t go to Lakshmi's house today , Lakshmi'skitchen is holiday today "EKADASI "all are fasting in her house.so she is enjoying the day with out cooking..so you come to my house!!!!
I still can not make out what the central things are. I don't think they are puppies.
They look like four pots to me. By the way, we don't even know what the festivals are,
leave alone EkAdaSi days! Any way, most of us eat only once here! In that way,
every day is a partial fasting day, is it not? Regards! - mOhana
mOhanaji, I didn't mean puppies/dogs were drawn, actually I see the 4 white pots which could have been drawn as pongal pots or as kalash with coconuts on top. But, if you look in an angle, may be from a child's perspective too :), you'll start seeing purple wagging tongues!
Speaking about Ekadasi, I have a question about that, and I would like to add that it is only for my understanding purposes, not for anything else. Scientifically, fasting is good once in a while to give our stomachs a break (as I understand it). But spiritually, I mean to the extent that some of the ladies of Indian origin follow (my mom observes all fasts), is it good or bad? What part of this do I fail to understand...is my curiosity
I've more questions than answers, but I would save them for some other time
