About Inspirational Kolam : PRINT
Yet another of Veni's kolams that inspired me recently (http://www.ikolam.com/node/15126?p=12785). Her kolam had three separate layers so I made a few changes and connected all the layers. I was so engrossed making it that after I finished I realised that I made it in one colour, whereas it should have been done in different colours to show the different sections, so I redid the whole thing separating every layer with different colours for ease of reference for the learners. I am sure all of you will like it

Thank you Rani, Jaanu and Veni for your sweet comments
One mistake I think I made is, I should not have used white for two different sections, because I when I had planned to identify separate layers they should have be in different colours and white in two sections confuses at the first glance sorry about that folks

Judy, Sooooooooooooo Beautiful. Good colouring. But I felt instead of black, any other colour if used would have enhanced the beauty of the kolam by another 10%. fantastic kolam . Thank you

Judy Madam congrats!
Nice colour combination and nice presentation.
I got an idea !!
The kolam also can be done with beads/sequins / kundans placed in place of dots and weaving different coloured threads in place of the joining lines .The beads and threads can be pasted on paper and nice greetings cards can be created. I will try this in the coming weekend and share the outcome with you all.
