About Advanced chikku kolams - Inspired by Veni : PRINT
This kolam was done by Veni couple of weeks ago and I decided to redo in on the computer with the different sections in different colours to tempt everyone to make a chikku kolam with ease. The only problem many people find in making a chikku kolam is how to take the lines 'in and out the sparkling bluebells' - sorry, sorry, I meant winding between the dots. correctly (suddenly was reminded of the game we used to play as kids). This way when you see how the different sections are connected then it is quite easy. This is unlike many kolams that deals with only one line right through the entire kolam - well that is a brain-teaser for sure. Enjoy friends

Wow!!!!!! Judy, Excellent job. Very attractive. The strokes and the colour combination is too good.
Judy I request you and Lata to upload a demo on "Making kolam in Photoshop". At least one small dotted kolam and one small sikku kolam .
We are very much interested but we need guidance. Can you do for me/us??????

Wow Judy yenna idhu... ipadi yellam kolam podavala... very very nicely done... seems like u took a tube of different colors and just squeezed them onto a brown cardboard... fantastic work

Judeeeeeeee......................1derful. 3D effect. Good way to show each section. U have taken so much pains to do this for all of us. Thanks a lot. Please teach us how to do computer kolams. You and Subhashini mam, when can we have the tutorial?

Looks as if you have done it with 3D paint on a notebook brown paper cover! It surely tempts us to try!

Thanks everyone for your appreciation and sweet comments - this is what drives me to do it better everytime.. Padma and S.Jayanthi you are welcome to the Chennai Meet for a live demo by Suba to learn PC kolams. Best would be for you to go through a tutotial trial version on Photoshop to learn the basics - I am sure you too can master it soon
