Simple dotted kolam with wet rice maavu put in the evening. Dot count 9x3, 7,5,3. Wanted to put colors inbetween, but thought the black and white contrast itself is nice. what you say?

Looks beautiful with feathery frills linking the units.
This was the file that didn't get tagged properly for some time (it was typed as "dotted" instead of "dotted kolam"). Whenever there are such mistakes, and you don't see the file in the main page, it means that Lata is trying to multitask and trying to beat the clock too. Rajamma maam cute kolam... as I always says white angle in the dark night...the ferns give the additional beauty to the kolam... coloro, no coloro whatever u do looks good to us.. cos each one would look beautiful and different in whatever way u depict them

Beautiful gossamer-like illusion

My translation to subhAshiNIjI's verse -

Very bright kolam. black and white combination is ever beauty. That too Rajamma mam with your special touch and the way you have connected - made the kolam beautiful. What is the size of the granite slab you have used?
