The kolam on water is beautiful with pleasing colours.

Thx for the comments, friends. First step is to fill the bowl with cold water, then sprinkle talcum powder on the water and finally draw the design. Since i live in dublin i do not have the actual kolappodi (white powder) to mix colors and tried with rice floor to mix the color - but the colors started dissolving, so then i bought some colored sand (which are used for decorative purposes here) and finally draw the design. :)
