mOhanaji's hexagonal chikku kolam no. 7
About mOhanaji's hexagonal chikku kolam no. 7 : PRINT
I tried the simplest of mOhanaji's chikku kolam with color podi.Hope it has come out 50% of the original PC work kolam.mohanaji will be able to give suggestions for improving it.(Brindha, I tried it with the given 5-3 dots and the triangles were not coming properly. Finally added inbetween dots to make it 9-5 dots, arranged the triangles first, then drew the design, finally put colored lines with the weaving effect seeing the original kolam. You too can in that way)

Super, super, super Rajam - this has come out so well. You have given lovely colours for the different sections making the entire kolam look very pretty. The way you have put dots for dots looks enchanting. Actually I too tried copying it in my book first and did not get the triangles but like you did extended the dots and zap!! it came correctly Still have not been able to try it out though

Well tried, well executed and a very good output. Initiall y I thought it is Mohanji's when I saw the thumbnail. Let Mohanji valuate this. Only he has rights to do that. Hope you get distinction marks.

I congratulate Mrs Rajamma for her efforts and for her sharp intellect with all my heart. Quite independently, she followed exactly the suggestion I mentioned in my comments. I am really glad that my humble efforts are getting some recognition. Again, a splendid work, ma'am!
Regards! - mOhana

mOhanaji, Thank you very much for acknowledging my efferts and expressing your kind comments.I am just flying in the sky after rerading your comments. I accept with happiness, since it is an encouragement to take up challenges in future (ofcourse in drawing kolams).the
Infact, almost all the ikolam regular members eagerly await and long for your comments. We get dissappointed if there is no comment from you. Inspite of knowing that you are tight with other important work , we keep waiting for the true analysis from you.
Of late I am not able to draw big kolams due to health problems, hence take up only small ones but try to give difference in their presentation. But when u started this Hexagonal series kolams, my mind became very active. It was like a puzzle. my mind was always occupied trying so many ways to solve it and put it in an easy way.Because of Aashadaa, and functions at home, did not find time to complete the task.I thought so many other members even very shrewd than me will come to my help.( may be they too were busy otherwise). But this small kolam forced me to take up the challenge immediately.Thank you once again for spending your valuable time in encouraging us with allyour Sharp and Sweet comments ( with a pinch of salt at times).
