Rani has given everyone a lot of board games to play with in her kolam today and the central spade like design is also really cute. Though neatly executed it seems to be a little out of proportion I think as the bottom looks wider than the top or is it because of the angle the picture was taken from?? Rani why not try and take a picture from your terrace for a change and see there will be a marked change in the look of your kolams. I know that Raghu goes to the 9th floor to take pictures for Lax - that way he is able to get the central view of her kolam
No words left as Judy has given her comments in detail... Well made Kolam and the checkers are the stealers of the show..
What Rani forgot to fill the Kaavi at the centre point? Final touch with computera?
Actually judy...if I take a picture of my kolam from d terrace...only 3/4th of my kolam is seen below...1/4th is under my coconut leaves....I too have tried...thats why Iam telling u....anyways thanks for ur wonderful suggestion...
Rani maam this is such a different design and well executed by you. If you had put kaavi for the outer checkered squares, it would hv looked marvelous I suppose (me and my fascination for your kaavi)

New chess board design kolam. But little variation in proportion may be due to angle of capture. Otherwise good.
