Vinci, Brindha and Judy, I suceeded in drawing this design with the triangles coming at proper places by a crosscut method and uploaded the kolam with the details. The kolam looked very simple, but the triangles refused to sit on the proper places.Finally got the clue , then it was very easy.You too can try that in that method. rajamma

I have a simple suggestion for people who want to draw this. Instead of placing 3, 4, 5 dots, place them as 6, 7, ..., 11, 10, ..... 6. Use the alternate dots for the purpose of connections. Then it will be easy to draw these types of rangOlIs quite accurately. P.S. Due to several reasons, I am still out of circulation except for having a brief look now and then. Regards! - mOhana
