very neat and excellently drawn. did you use any brush to draw the strokes, so thin and so perfect.

lovely maakolam shanthi...only one thing i felt was u could've put kavi to d outer border too...it would've looked even more rich...lovely.....

Very neatly done - you seem to be an expert.. Your nellis look perfect and neat. Is it double finger nelli or single finger?? The top right and left border looks very dressy with the dots - good work

This is beautifully drawn and the use of red colored kaavi enhances the look even further.
Going by the date you've mentioned, I think what you mean is that you made this for the start of Onam. Onam is different from the Malayalam new year - Vishu, which falls around the same time frame as the Tamil new year.
