How to comment on my own work? Well, this was an experiment as how to relate poetry and rangoli, both my favourite hobbies. The God's month is well-known for Andal's tiruppAvai. I have translated all tiruppAvai in telugu verse and songs with accompanying English translation. I thought I'll choose this as the theme. I confess that the rangolis are simple, but dotted. They are not breathtakingly beautiful as the others are. But this is my creation and I love it. Once again this was drwan not to win a prize, but to express myself in my own way. Regards! - mohana

mOhanaji, which site/blog do we go to for reading more of your English translations of tiruppaAvai? Your way of expressing yourself by making these simple yet nice collection of small kolams, accompanied by spiritual poetry adds variety to the whole concept of kolam-making.

Thanks! I don't have any blog site. Anybody interested in reading these (either the Telugu versions or the English version) may send a separate personal e-mail to me (please DO NOT flood the i-kolam site) jkmrao at yahoo dot com. I'll send them the material. Regards! - mOhana
