seriously when I saw the kolam before I read the description, I thought it was a cloth with embroidery and after I read your description, I looked at the kolam again and only then I discovered the outer tassles were flowers. WOW - LOOKS VERY BEAUTIFUL :)

Well done. Can you please explain how did you do the kumizh desiign? Is it by taking some kolamavu in hand and close and allow the maavu to fall from below the little finger when u hold the hand vertical? The border with flowers makes it looks like a mat.
