This picture was sent by Mr.Nagata (Japan). This is his grandson who is playing with the kolam cubes. Mr.Nagata had brought these kolam cubes with him during his visit to our house (San Jose) about three years ago.

Cute baby! I am surprised to know that there are cubes with kolam designs also. Is Mr.Nagata doing any research about kolams? (Are Hannya and Lata the same person?)
