About Hexagonal chikku kOlam - 5 : PRINT

This was made with a basic 3 x 3 motif. The basic motif has has three independent strings. When this was assembled into a hexagonal entity, eight strings result. I chose to keep two sets of three strings in the same colour resulting in totally four colours. Enjoy!

This hexagonal kolam looks less complicated and easy to try. The different colored strings make it easy to follow. Kolam within kolam is a nice concept.mOhanaji thank you for inspiring us to become perfect in all the feilds/aspects of kolam making..
