Welcome to ikolam Ms.Shanthi!
This is a beautiful kolam with so many arches. The filled stars look great too. Good to know that you could achieve such a beauty with little effort.

Lovely double strokes and a different kolam pattern. You have made your fingers to dance for the lovely curves. Could have given a full image for us to enjoy.

thank you very much for all those comments. In kerala we mostly draw kolams with rice batter raw rice soaked and ground to fine paste then add water to get the right consistency my ma-in-law will add little urad dal and fenugreek seeds to get a glue effect. When we go to Tamilnadu I make a point to get some kollapodi and also some color podi as we dont get them here. many a times my sis-in-law brings me these items along with kuzhal.

Wonderful bigggggg kolam!! Thin strokes and Double Izhai makes it look very neat,
Double Izhai is difficult for me. :(. You seem to be a master.
Perfect strokes especially the curves and perfect symmetry...
Simple and very attractive. My mind never thinks about such designs. Will make a note of these in my collection.
Thanks for sharing with us..
